ABOUT

In 2010, my wife and I searched for months to find the perfect home in Argyle that fit our needs. Once we identified that place we moved here right away. We have loved every moment of it and we are excited to be a part of Argyle & what is to come of our wonderful community. Growing up in west Texas brought me to appreciate rural farming & ranching communities like Argyle.

My professional experience is in Human Capital Management, Human Resources & Business Development. In my current post as Executive Director of Re-cruiting for a technology school, I am responsible for Human Resources & staffing initiatives nationwide. I have held several different positions within this organization and have called it home since 2010. I am also a managing partner in a small welding & construction company that builds everything from custom furniture to metal buildings.

My motivation to run for Town Council came to me as I looked back on my time here & pondered all of my initial reasons for moving to Argyle. I felt a strong calling that led me to research more on what varying citizen opinions were and how others felt about the direction of our beloved community. I think all of us will agree that Argyle is a special place with a unique feel that sets us apart. One thing that I continue to hear from citizens about incoming and encroaching developers is "this is not why I moved here" & "they are going to ruin the feel of our town". I have also heard many times that “the current council is letting things happen in our community that we are unhappy about.” My stance on these matters is that I want to be a passive voice for the citizens and fight for what WE, as a community want and need. We know that some "progress" is inevitable, but as a council member I see it crucial to govern who, how, where, and when we allow this "progress" to take place. I feel strongly that our overall infrastructure is in-sufficient to allow the type of development that the town currently has on the agenda. I feel that our roads are not ready for the planned growth. I also feel that traffic and safety issues will rise, especially in those “cut-through" communities with through streets where drivers are already starting to show disregard for the safety of playing children, etc.

My stance for this election is that I wish to contin-ue the authentic feel, perpetuate positive living conditions, and elevate safety above normal standards. I do not believe that any of us want to become another DFW suburb that is overcrowded, unsafe, or unworthy of its special citizens that moved here for the same reasons my wife and I did.

I am always available to speak with neighbors and citizens and welcome any of you here to connect with me if you want to know more about me or share your thoughts and ideas for our community.

I would truly appreciate your vote in the May 6, 2017 election and give you all my word that I will work hard to earn that vote!

God bless you all and long live Argyle, TX!!
